Claire is available for school visits and the 'Tilly the Giraffe' workshops have been designed with the National Curriculum in mind. It is ideally suited to Key Stages 1 & 2.
'Tilly the Giraffe and Her Amazing Escape' has much to stretch the child's imagination and knowledge; elements, which have been incorporated into the school workshops. Tilly's adventure in the Lake District can inspire children to write their own stories and to develop their literary skills, while also encouraging an appreciation of geography and the national world. The book celebrates the landscape of the Langdale Valley and also touches upon wildlife in Central Africa.
Claire's workshops are flexible so they can be applied to all levels of ability and class size. This means that all children can participate and benefit from the exercises.
